Not enough detail

The book ambitiously tries to summarize the main points of many business best-sellers, but I find the summaries too brief to get a real understanding of the material (the summaries are only 3-5 pages each). Some of the summaries try to cram so much information in a small space that the writing is choppy and unreadable. I would not recommend this book.

I purchased this book for a Readings in Management class. The chapters in the book are a series of writings from many authors and other respected business people. Each chapter gives a different viewpoint on business practice and bahavior. It is a great book to have on hand for those times when you are looking for ideas to solve problems in business.
