There have been many opportunities over the last few years of residency where I would have liked to look quickly at some high-yield neurosurgery material that would require minimal preparation. That is, I don't want to have to go and find a book at the library, or carry one around with me, and then have to find a short section of a chapter to review, etc. I would have loved to carry around 10-20 cards in my pockets to rapid review at any time I had a moment to spare. In fact, when I studied for my written board exam I produced hundreds of flash cards for review of important facts. About the Author
Peter Pennoyer’s eponymous firm is widely published and recognized for imaginative and elegant designs that draw from history and tradition. The firm is on the AD100 and Pennoyer is the winner of the Veranda Art of Design Award and the Frederic E. Church Award. He is a fellow of the American Institute of Architects and has written and lectured about architecture and style. Peter Pennoyer Architects has projects from Hong Kong to Newport, Rhode Island, and commissions for leading artists and tastemakers across the country.

Katie Ridder has been included in the Top 100 lists of designers for House Beautiful, Elle Décor, and New York magazine. Her firm produces fabrics, wallpaper, and rugs of her design.

Architectural historian and author Anne Walker has collaborated with Peter Pennoyer on four monographs on the history of 20th-century American architecture.
Interiors photographer Eric Piasecki contributes to Elle Décor, Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, and many other publications.

Great text/pictures and so glad to have made this purchase

Another exceptional publication by Peter Pennoyer and this time a work describing a residence designed and inhabited by Mr. Pennoyer and his family. Great text/pictures and so glad to have made this purchase. Cannot wait to see what is next from this great architect and look forward spend a lot of time with this book. Thank you Mr. Pennoyer and keep books like this coming.

Thrilled to see the interior. We were lucky enough to meet Katie and Peter and see the gardens during Open Days this past weekend. The architecture is even more stunning in person and Katie's use of color and pattern is masterful!! Please add this book to your design library.
