About the Author
Ernesto Ortiz is the founder and director of Journey to the Heart, a company dedicated to uplifting consciousness and the well-being of people. He is a noted artist, author, facilitator, teacher, and therapist. During the past 25 years, Ernesto has facilitated hundreds of workshops and seminars in the United States, Canada, France, Australia, the Caribbean, Indonesia, Egypt, the UK, Mexico, and South America. His deep and intimate connection with the Akashic Records began in 1993 after being deeply touched by the material, seeing his life transformed and assisting numerous Akashic Records classes. With guidance from the Master, he started teaching in 1997. Ortiz has two children and lives in Miami, Florida.

In that field only love exists anyway

Some people talk the talk, some walk it. Having had the opportunity to observe the author's walk during a challenging "spiritual" trip I must say the heart-centered teachings he promotes are not embodied in practice. The contrary was more prevalent, day after day, in the course of more than a long week, the cracks do eventually show, and our group certainly saw them, and suffered them too. The world is full of teachers who promote things they do not practice in their human interactions. Hence the saying "Those who can't, teach". The salvation is that there is value in all teachings, for teachings come in many forms. This being said, reading the akashic records IS for EVERYONE, no matter how open one's heart is in practice in one's daily encounters with others, and anyone can learn to tune-in to the quantum field of knowledge. In that field only love exists anyway, so once we get there, we ARE in the heart-center of knowledge. That is the redemption for all of us. Whether we practice loving-kindness in our day to day or not. And that altered, expanded sense we reach when connecting to the ALL hopefully eventually carries over into our human lives.
I do not recommend this book in particular, but I do recommend that everyone find his or her own way to open to the sacredness of their soul's journey and purpose, for indeed, it is all recorded and available to us. We just need to ask with sincerity and tune in. There are other books on this subject, as well as free online ones. They all do the same thing. Each individual must connect directly by opening himself or herself to the ALL. No book can or will do that for you. Just find the prayer somewhere, do your own spiritual practice whatever it is, and practice connecting and asking for answers. That's the only direct route. :)

Interesting Perspectives On The Akashic Records!

The book has some excellent guidance for proponents of
the mystic arts and healers. Examples are grounding
guidance, meditation and the chakras.
Grounding allows for healing abilities and equilibrium
maintenance. In addition, we can grow deeper roots
with grounding and have a better connection to the
spiritual domain.
Specific grace points are referenced to accomplish
important tasks. For instance, the center of the palm
is for a directed emotional release point. The point
just 1 inch below the pinky is utilized for directing the
consciousness to clear on the cellular level. The ego
disconnect point is just south of the thumb.
The book is aimed at the Masters and Teachers of the
Akashic Records. The book is well written and easy to
understand. In addition, it provides good guidance on
the historical dimensions of The Akashic Records.

From beginning to end, Ernesto Ortiz guides you step-by-step into a state of consciousness that will help heal your soul and have a better understanding of your past, present and future possibilities with an open heart. Reading "The Akashic Records" is a life transforming experience in itself. This little treasure is an excellent and easy read for everyone! I highly recommend this book whole heartedly to anyone following a spiritual path. As you open the book, your heart will open up as well. Enjoy this journey!
